Pilates for Injury Prevention

Prevent Injuries Before They Start

We offer specialised sessions designed to support bone density and bone health and those with osteopenia and osteoporosis

At our boutique Pilates studio in Newmarket, we help people move better so they can stay active, independent, and doing what they love for as long as possible.

Injury prevention is  for everyone who wants to keep their body working well — whether that’s walking, working, gardening, playing sport, or moving well and with less effort getting through a busy day.

Most injuries come from being inactive and sitting for extended periods of time in the same position without a break to move.

Pilates That Helps Prevent Injury

Injuries can build up over time from:

  • Repetitive movements

  • Muscle imbalances

  • Poor posture

  • Weak core

  • Moving without awareness or control.

The body starts to compensate. Muscle imbalances start and the body is reacting with stiffness, niggles and recurring pain.

This can be changed with the right approach and guidance.

At our studio, we focus on helping your body relearn how to move well again - safely, gradually and with support.
