My Story

Keep Moving Pilates was born from a very personal journey. Over six years, I experienced water poisoning, breast cancer and psychosis. Each time, I had to slow down, reset and build myself back up again.

After recovery, I chose to go in a new direction, away from an office job, and started studying Pilates, towards the full Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction. 
In 2020, I started Keep Moving Pilates in Perth while teaching community classes and working as a contractor.

In 2022, I moved to Brisbane and opened the studio here — with the aim to create a space that feels real, supportive and focused on helping people keep moving, no matter where they are at.

My Story

I have always loved sports. Growing up, I spent a lot of time outdoors — climbing trees and playing table tennis with other children. I swam in a sports club for a year and played handball for more than 20 years, right up until both of my children were born.

 

Through sports injuries, I began doing specific recovery and strengthening exercises prescribed by a specialist. I recovered well and returned to playing handball.
